Experiencing "living with Co Tu culture" in Da Nang during holidays

Trà Ban |

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area, Da Nang, implements a series of activities "Echoes of the Great Forest", focusing on experiencing Co Tu culture.

The highlight of the program series is the activity "One day as a local" at Co Tu ancient village. Tourists participate in pounding rice, weaving brocade, weaving, wading streams to catch fish and processing traditional dishes. The activities are designed in an interactive direction, helping tourists clearly feel the rhythm of life and local culture. The activities are designed towards the depth tourism trend, where tourists not only visit but also directly participate in local life.

The reception space is organized with folk instruments, cultural exchange, gong playing and folk games. Activities are distributed in many areas, creating a continuous flow of experience, limiting the concentration of many people at the same time.

In the evening, the upgraded version of the "Dancing the Great Forest" program becomes a highlight. The tourist area also adds night markets and local cuisine to extend stay time and enhance the experience for tourists.

The overarching orientation is to make the Co Tu community a tourist subject. People directly guide, perform and tell cultural stories. This approach both enhances the experience, creates livelihoods and contributes to preserving traditional values.

In parallel with experiential activities, the tourist area applies discounted service combo offers during peak seasons. This policy helps increase accessibility and stimulate tourism demand.

The combination of day and night experiences, associated with local culture, shows a clear direction. Dong Giang Heaven Gate does not compete by scale, but focuses on the value of experience and sustainability, in line with current tourism trends.
