The working delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province and Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV), organized visits, gifts, and encouragement to families of victims and relatives of workers injured in labor accidents in Ha Lam ward.
The delegation visited the family of Mr. Chu Van Thuy (born in 1990, residing in group 2A, zone 5, Ha Lam ward), a worker at the Standing Well Transport Workshop, Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin.
Mr. Thuy suffered a serious work accident during his work, with a 67% reduction in working capacity, had to have his left knee joint removed and is now wearing a prosthetic leg.
Mr. Thuy's family faced many difficulties when his two children were young; in which, one child suffered from autism and one child had congenital heart disease.
The working delegation also visited the family of Mr. Le Van Hien, a worker of Hon Gai Coal Company - TKV, who unfortunately died during the construction of excavating and supporting a longitudinal mine at level -135, strip 10, Cai Da area.
At the families, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Khuong cordially inquired and shared the losses and difficulties; and encouraged the families to strive to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
