Speaking at the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Lam Toi - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Yen Bai province emphasized that this is one of the important events in the series of activities to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of Yen Bai province (April 11, 1900 - April 11, 2025).
The exhibition introduces over 200 documentary images, scientific documents, and artifacts about Yen Bai from the feudal period to the present and the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Yen Bai province in the renovation process.




In particular, the exhibition introduces some valuable documents, which are valuable documents in terms of research on the history of formation and development of Yen Bai province. These documents are being researched and collected by the Provincial Museum to serve the exhibition on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the province's founding.
The documents and artifacts highlighted the process of Yen Bai province from the Hung Vuong era, under the Northern period, until the French colonialists invaded Yen Bai in the army. The milestone on April 11, 1900 plays an important role when the Governor -General of Indochina issued an official decree to establish Yen Bai province to become a provincial administrative unit.


During the period of fighting against foreign invaders, the people of Yen Bai ethnic groups affirmed the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, resilience, and determination in the struggle for national independence.
The exhibition also displays artifacts and images of the development journey and achievements of Yen Bai province over 125 years, from urban areas to remote villages, from low-lying or mountainous areas.
The exhibition takes place from April 10 to April 15.
