Change the weather at the weekend to eat grilled bamboo in the suburbs of Hanoi

Hanoi - On weekends, gourmets come to Dong Anh again to enjoy bamboo grove grilled meat to "change the wind".

Mentioning the dining location in Uy No (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi), the bamboo grove along Dao Duy Tung street is the name that many people think of first. Rows of grilled restaurants are close together, smoke billows, and lively laughter create a very characteristic atmosphere of after-work gatherings.

The most noticeable point in this area is... extremely crowded. Especially during peak hours or weekends, many shops are almost full, customers have to wait or sit close together. For people who like bustle, this is a plus point, but if you want to eat comfortably and chat gently, it may be a bit "suffering".

Some famous restaurants often fall into overload: Staff run continuously, ordering is sometimes slow, and the food is not evenly distributed. The space is therefore also difficult to maintain orderliness, especially when the number of customers is too large.

In return, the food quality in the "bamboo grove" area is generally quite good. The dishes are mainly rustic grilled, not marinated too elaborately. The grilled meat is soft, retaining its natural sweetness. Crispy oyster mushrooms are grilled fragrant and suitable for drinking. Pork belly is cut into large pieces, the skin is crispy and soft. All are served with pickled vegetables, which is very suitable.

The most interesting highlight is pan-fried vermicelli: crispy like burnt rice, served with grilled meat and pickled vegetables, it is truly "delicious".

The price is also quite soft. Large, thick sliced meat with a full plate costs from 160,000 - 200,000 VND/plate depending on the type.
