On August 2, Hanoi Halal restaurant - a high-end Halal restaurant in Hanoi officially opened, aiming to serve the domestic and international Muslim community, as well as diners interested in clean, standard cuisine.
The opening ceremony was solemnly held with the presence of representatives of the Islamic Embassies in Vietnam, Halal organizations, and state management agencies.
This is one of the very few restaurants in Hanoi that meets comprehensive Halal standards, marking an important step forward in bringing Halal standards into the urban food and beverage service industry.
With the message "Sure Vietnamese - Standards Halal", the restaurant serves a rich menu: Ripe rice, chicken Ho, green crab soup, vermicelli - fish soup, hotpot dishes, vegetarian dishes, pure juice, clean and healthy drinks.
The project was initiated by Ms. An Thanh Nhan, the founder of the restaurant, with the desire to bring a standard Halal culinary address in Hanoi, meeting the increasingly consumer trend towards transparency and cleanliness.

Halal certification is one of the important criteria to participate in the global Muslim market, with more than 2.3 billion consumers in ASEAN, the Middle East, South Asia, Africa and Europe.
Operating a Halal-standard restaurant is a clear competitive advantage, especially when the demand for "clean - traceable - transparent" food and beverage services is increasing.
For the service - tourism industry, the expansion of Halal facilities will contribute to increasing the ability to welcome Hoi giao tourists, increase the satisfaction index and retain international visitors in Vietnam for longer.
The launch of Hanoi Halal contributes to perfecting the service ecosystem to welcome Hoi giao tourists - a group of tourists with high spending, long stays and strict culinary requirements - which is lacking in Vietnam. This is also a positive signal for the capital's tourism industry in efforts to diversify products and towards sustainable development.
Halal (arabic: allowed) is a strict food standards system, stipulating that the entire supply chain does not use banned ingredients, is not cross-contaminated, and does not have toxic additives, while ensuring a transparent, hygienic processing process and in accordance with production ethics.
Halal is increasingly widely chosen, not only by the Muslim community, but also by consumers looking for safe, clear-origin, and non-toxic foods. In the context of the global food and beverage (F&B) industry moving towards responsible consumption, Halal has become a high-value standard for consumers.
