American YouTuber Sonny Side affirmed that bun cha is one of the easiest dishes in Vietnam for foreign tourists.

Sonny Side is a famous American vlogger, owner of the YouTube channel Best Ever Food Review Show with 11 million followers. With an endless passion for cuisine, he often shares his experience enjoying unique dishes from many countries around the world.

Sonny was excited about Vietnam's rich and diverse cuisine. However, he also admitted that there are many strange dishes considered specialties such as shrimp paste, rat meat... that make many foreign tourists afraid.

According to the American vlogger, one of the easiest dishes in Vietnam that is most popular with foreign customers is bun cha. He also posted a video enjoying Hanoi-style bun cha at a quite famous restaurant on Truong Dinh Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

Sonny ordered a full serving of bun cha with bun, grilled ca, raw vegetables. He didn't forget to order more beer and a plate of crab cakes to taste.

The male tourist was surprised because the crab cakes here are wrapped in fillings, firm and quite big: "Overseas, the restaurant can serve a large plate, but the crab inside is very small and costs up to 17 USD. Meanwhile, here, a plate of crab cakes full of shrimp, crab, meat and some herbs is too cheap".

Sonny Side said that when he first came to Vietnam, he ordered a portion of bun cha and hoped all the fish sauce because he thought this was the soup to eat with it. At that time, he still considered this a delicious dish with a unique flavor. However, he was thirsty all day because the fish sauce was too salty.

The male tourist from abroad expressed his great love for bun cha and affirmed: "This is a dish that my parents definitely love".

In addition to the fragrant grilled meat and sausage, beautifully golden browned, the dipping sauce with carrots and stir-fried sausage also helps to enhance the flavor of bun cha.

Sonny also tried the way to eat vermicelli and grilled meat with lettuce, wrapped it around the way to eat Korean BBQ and confirmed that the flavor did not change much.

"No way to eat is completely right. But don't drink fish sauce. So it's okay," he humorously said.
