On August 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association held a press conference to announce the 1st Vietnamese Rice Fiber Festival in 2025. The festival will take place from October 16 to 19 at September 23 Park.
With the theme of delicious Dishes from Bun, the festival will bring a journey to explore a variety of famous bun dishes across the country, from bun cha Ha Noi, bun ca co do Hai Phong, bun bo Hue, bun rieu, bun mat Can Tho, bun ca Nha Trang, bun cam like Soc Trang... In addition, the event also has delicious dishes from famous noodles such as pho, Hu tieu, banh thu, banh tin...
The festival is expected to have 100 - 150 booths displaying and introducing vermicelli products, fresh vermicelli, rice fibers, processed spices and special side dishes.
Visitors are free to enter. Not only having the opportunity to enjoy many famous bun dishes, people and tourists also learn about the traditional rice fiber production process along with other unique side dishes, interact with culinary experts and participate in many attractive cultural and entertainment activities.
The organizing committee emphasized that ensuring food safety and hygiene is a top priority. The unit coordinated with reputable noodle brands to provide clean noodles, and at the same time, closely coordinated with the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City on preparing necessary documents and procedures when participating in the event, complying with food safety and hygiene and conducting field inspections.
