According to storm news, the latest low pressure from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), a low pressure is moving deeper into the mainland Philippines.

As of 2 pm today (local time), the center of the low pressure was located at about 13.2 degrees North latitude - 121.9 degrees East longitude, over the sea and land of Gasan, Marinduque.

The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure reached 35 km/h. PAGASA forecasts that the low pressure is highly likely to develop into a tropical depression or storm in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) forecasts the possibility of the low pressure strengthening at an average level.
