According to storm news, the latest low pressure from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), a low pressure is advancing deep into the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
As of the morning of June 28, the center of the low pressure area with the symbol Invest 96W was located at about 10.2 degrees North latitude - 132.2 degrees East longitude, about 735 km north of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure reached 30 km/h. The low pressure is moving in a West direction, towards the mainland of the Central Philippines.
PAGASA forecasts that the low pressure has the potential to develop into a tropical depression or storm in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the low pressure bearing the symbol Invest 95W is strengthening over the Western Pacific region.
The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure reached 35 km/h, gusting up to 45 km/h. The low pressure is likely to develop into a tropical depression or storm in the next 24 hours.
In the East Sea, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of June 28, the area north of the Gulf of Tonkin, the eastern sea area of the North and Central East Sea, and the Gulf of Thailand had scattered showers and thunderstorms. Phu Quy Special Zone had strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6.
