The low pressure is at about 12.2 degrees north latitude, 127.1 degrees east longitude.

While another low pressure area is located about 415 km west (14.8 degrees north latitude, 116.6 degrees east longitude) from Abucay, Bataan province.

These two depressions are causing cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Visayas and Caraga regions.

Weather forecast is that there is a possibility of flash floods or landslides in some areas due to the above weather conditions.

The area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau and from Ca Mau to Kien Giang will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; southwest winds of level 3-4 and corresponding light winds, waves from 0.5 to 1.5 meters and 0.5 to 1.0 meters high.

In the North East Sea, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Southeast, with the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms; the westerly to southwest wind will be level 3-4, waves will be 1.0 to 2.0 meters high, and thunderstorms can exceed 2.0 meters.

The Hoang Sa archipelago and the central East Sea will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; southwest winds of level 3-4 and light winds, waves from 0.5 to 1.5 meters high.

Weather forecast for the South China Sea and Truong Sa archipelago, showers and thunderstorms in some places; light winds, waves from 0.5 to 1.5 meters high.

In particular, the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind; light winds, waves from 0.5 to 1.0 meters high.
