The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for April 17th in regions across the country. Accordingly, temperatures in most regions across the country tend to decrease.
From the night of April 16 to April 17, due to the influence of cold air compressing low pressure troughs combined with wind convergence above 1500m, in the Northern region (except Lai Chau, Dien Bien) and North Central region there will be rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain over 100mm. From April 17, the North will turn cool.
The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and eastern Quang Ngai province will be hot with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 36 degrees C, with some places above 36 degrees C.

Hanoi City
Lowest temperature: 24-26 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 31-33 degrees C.
Cloudy, showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (rain concentrated at night and morning). Southeast to South wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Northwest
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees C, in some places below 22 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees C, especially in the Northwest region, some places above 32 degrees C.
Cloudy, with rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Northeast
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees C, in some places below 23 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees C.
Cloudy, with rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Thanh Hoa to Hue
Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: North 28-31 degrees C; South 33-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C.
The North is cloudy, with rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; the South has hot sunny days. Southwest to South wind level 2-3.
South Central Coast
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees C, in some places below 23 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees C, in some places above 35 degrees C.
Sunny day, especially in the North there are places with hot sunshine. Southeast to South wind level 2-3.
Central Highlands
Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C, in some places above 33 degrees C.
Sunny day, hot in some places. Light wind.
Southern region
Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees C, in some places above 35 degrees C.
Cloudy, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; sunny during the day, hot in some places. Light wind. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Ho Chi Minh City
Lowest temperature: 25-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 33-35 degrees C.
Sunny day, hot in some places. Light wind.
