The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updates the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (April 17) in regions across the country.
The Central Central region (from Quang Tri to Da Nang, eastern Quang Ngai) has the highest temperature: 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C, the lowest humidity: 55-60%.
On April 17, the area will be hot, the hot time will mainly be from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
From April 18, widespread hot weather in the Central Central region tends to end.
The Northern and North Central regions from the night of April 16 to April 17, due to the influence of cold air compressing low pressure troughs combined with wind convergence above level 1.500m, the Northern region (except Lai Chau, Dien Bien) and North Central region have rain, moderate rain, scattered thunderstorms. Common rainfall is 20-40mm, locally very heavy rain over 100mm.
From April 17, the weather in the North will turn cool.
The Central Highlands area in the late afternoon and evening of April 16, the area has showers and scattered thunderstorms, rainfall 10-20mm, locally over 50mm.
People and tourists should be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. These phenomena can affect agricultural production, break down trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure. Localized heavy rain potentially poses a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides in steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
