The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updates the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (April 23) in regions across the country.
The cold air mass from the North is continuing to move southward, while compressing a low pressure trough with an axis of about 23-26 degrees North latitude.
From the night of April 22, cold air will affect the Northeast region, then expand to other areas in the North and North Central regions, and some places in the Northwest region.
Wind turns to Northeast level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4. Temperature decreases, Northern region commonly 20-23 degrees C, mountainous areas in some places below 20 degrees C; North Central region 21-24 degrees C.
From the night of April 22nd to April 23rd, the North will have showers and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain. From April 23rd, the weather will turn cool, with the lowest temperature of 21-23 degrees Celsius.
At sea in the Gulf of Tonkin area, there are scattered showers and thunderstorms. From near dawn on April 23, the Northeast wind turns strong at level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting at level 7. Sea is rough, waves are 1.5-2.5m high.
Thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind accompanied by extreme phenomena can affect agricultural production, causing trees to fall, houses and works to be damaged.
