The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (June 25) in regions across the country.
In the next 24-48 hours, hot weather will continue to be maintained in many areas across the country, in which the Central region is still the place recording the highest temperature.
On June 25, the midland and Northern Delta regions will continue to experience hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly from 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 50-55%.
In the Northern mountainous region, hot weather occurs locally with temperatures in some places exceeding 35 degrees Celsius. From June 26, hot weather in the North is forecast to gradually decrease in intensity.
Meanwhile, from June 25-26, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak continue to experience intense heat, especially intense in some places. The highest temperature is commonly from 37-39 degrees Celsius, many places exceed 40 degrees Celsius. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 45-50%.
The meteorological agency warns that hot weather in the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak may continue for many days to come.
Due to the impact of prolonged hot weather combined with low air humidity, the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas increases due to increased electricity demand. At the same time, the risk of forest fires is also high in many localities.
It is recommended that people limit direct contact with high temperatures for a long time, supplement enough water and take health protection measures to avoid dehydration, exhaustion or heat shock.
