Weather forecast for the night of October 27 and October 28, the North and North Central regions will have the lowest temperature of 19-22°C, mountainous areas below 17°C; average temperature 23-25°C, mountainous areas below 22°C.
Due to the influence of the strengthening cold air combined with disturbances in the high-altitude East wind zone, the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the East of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain.
Currently, floods on the Huong River (Hue City), Vu Gia-Thu Bon River (Da Nang City) are rising rapidly; rivers in South Quang Tri and Quang Ngai are rising.
In the next 12-24 hours, floods on the Bo River at Phuoc station, on the Huong River at Kim Long station, the Vu Gia River at Ai Nghia station, and the Thu Bon River at Cau Lau station will remain high and above BD3 from 0.5-1.0m. Floods on Tra Khuc River will gradually decrease and will be at level 2.
People and tourists need to be on guard against the high risk of flash floods on rivers and streams and landslides on steep slopes of provinces from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai.
