The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (May 28) in regions across the country.
On May 28, hot weather continued to cover many areas across the country. In the North (except Lai Chau and Dien Bien), the highest temperature is commonly from 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places exceeding 38 degrees Celsius, intense heat appeared. The lowest humidity fluctuates around 50-55%.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City recorded intense heat, locally especially intense in some places with common temperatures of 37-39 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly from 45-50%.
Meanwhile, the South Central Coast region also experienced widespread hot weather with the highest temperature from 36-38 degrees C, in some places exceeding 38 degrees C, the lowest humidity is about 50-55%.
On May 29, hot weather will continue in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. The highest temperature is commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, in some places above 36 degrees Celsius; the relative lowest humidity fluctuates from 55-60%.
Due to the influence of hot sun, intense and especially intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a high risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand and the risk of forest fires. In addition, people and tourists need to pay attention that hot sun can also cause dehydration for the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
