Spooner village
Located in the remote Iya valley, Nagoro village, Tokushima Prefecture is famous for its mystery when puppets are everywhere. Currently, the village has only about 30 adults living there.
To fill the emptiness, Ms. Ayano Tsukimi, a daughter of the village, after returning from the city, created dolls and puppets the size of real people.
Initially, she only made them to drive away birds and protect crops. However, when young people left and old people died, she decided to make more puppets to commemorate the deceased and befriend those who remained.
To date, the number of puppets in Nagoro has reached hundreds. They are scattered everywhere, vividly recreating human daily activities.
This strange combination makes Nagoro likened to a scary "haunted" village on Halloween, but at the same time also turns this place into a unique tourist destination, attracting many international tourists to visit.
Fox village
Zaō Fox Village, located near Shiraishi city, Miyagi prefecture, is an extremely unique and interesting destination. Built in the early 1990s in the ideally climated highlands, it was originally a center for raising and conserving foxes.

Currently, the village is the common home of more than 100 fox individuals, including 6 different fox breeds such as red fox, silver fox, snow fox and platinum fox...
To visit these cute foxes, visitors can travel by high-speed train, then continue to take a bus straight to the village.
Fox Village is open to visitors from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, except for winter (from December 1st to March 15th) it will close 1 hour earlier. This is an ideal place to experience the unique wild natural space in the land of the rising sun.
The town of "The Legendary Detective
The town of Hokuei, in Tottori Prefecture, is known as the town of Conan in real life.
Images of the boy "The Legendary Detective" and characters in the series appear everywhere, from train stations, streets to shops, eateries. This space brings the feeling that visitors are entering the world of comics.

The highlight of the town is the Aoyama Gosho Museum, which displays manuscripts, documents and workspaces of authors. Visitors can learn about the creative process, participate in crime-solving games and transform into detectives. Souvenir stores also sell many products related to Conan.
Statue village
Fureai Sekibutsu no Sato is a park located in Toyama Prefecture.
This name means "the village where you can meet Buddha statues". This place stands out with more than 800 stone statues of people and Buddhas, arranged in the natural space.

The park was built in 1989 by a local businessman, named Mutsuo Furukawa. He used to own many businesses and wanted to create a space for people to relax.
After Mr. Furukawa passed away, the park gradually became abandoned and no one took care of it anymore. Many statues were covered with trees, creating a scene that was both peaceful and terrifying.
Later, this place was discovered by a photographer and spread images to the outside, attracting tourists to explore a unique and somewhat "magical" space in Japanese nature.
