4 days 3 nights of slow living in Dien Bien during the blooming season

The trip to Dien Bien brings many emotions when visitors have the opportunity to learn about the heroic history, admire nature, and blend with the local rhythm of life.

Thu Ha (from Bac Giang) and her group of friends had 4 days and 3 nights filled with feelings in Dien Bien. Compared to the provinces and cities she has passed through, the journey to Dien Bien is much longer and more arduous than traveling to other mountainous provinces. However, this trip made her remember it forever. Photo: Thu Ha

She expressed: "I am very impressed with the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum. Because here, our group was given a pen for the next souvenir book of the museum, read countless sentences from people from all over, and was given a special People's Newspaper number with a printed panorama photo. Witnessing the myriad of artifacts that our ancestors used during the war, watching documentaries and writing grateful words in the book, I realized that choosing Dien Bien for this journey was truly worth it". The group of young female tourists visited places associated with famous historical events in Dien Bien such as A1 Hill, Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu battlefield, Dien Bien Phu Martyrs' Cemetery, Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum. "Luckily, that was my feeling when I came here. The people of that time were all old, the young people remember their names, and even those who were forever in the land of heroes without names, I looked at them all when I came to the museum, choked up when I saw everything that had been around for a long time, with endless gratitude," the female tourist shared. On the second day, the group of tourists conquered the westernmost point of A Pa Chai. Photo: Thu Ha
The time when Ms. Ha's group arrived in Dien Bien was also the most beautiful flower blooming season, especially in the D1 hill area, around Na Su village and Muong Thanh bridge. Every year, from the end of February to the end of April, Dien Bien always puts on the pure white color of the ban flower. Photo: Quang Dat

Thu Ha also took advantage of this trip to "transform" into a Thai ethnic girl with a musical instrument in hand. She smiled brightly amidst the beautiful natural scenery in Na Su village. Photo: Thu Ha

She could not help but be moved: "The 54 ethnic groups spread across the S-shaped strip of land, the costumes of the White Thai people worn on me for the first time in Na Su village (Nam Po, Dien Bien) are so touching. Coming to Na Su village and experiencing Thai culture, I learned more about community tourism, about real and close life". Photo: Thu Ha
