After the first rains of the season, hundreds of crape myrtle trees in the Lau Ong Hoang slope area, along Nguyen Thong street, Phu Thuy ward (Lam Dong province) simultaneously sprouted young leaves and bloomed purple, creating a check-in point attracting many people and tourists.
In recent days, many local people and tourists from various places have stopped at this area to admire flowers and save beautiful photos on the journey to explore Mui Ne.

Ms. Tran Thanh Huyen, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said that her family took advantage of summer vacation to visit Mui Ne. When passing Lau Ong Hoang slope, the whole family was attracted by the brilliant purple color at the foot of the hill, so they decided to stop to take photos and share them on social networks.
Magnolia flowers are familiar to the people of Phan Thiet coastal land. However, in previous years, this plant often bloomed scattered on the hillsides. This year, hundreds of native magnolia trees in the Lau Ong Hoang slope area bloomed simultaneously, creating a rarely seen large purple space.

According to records, the flower blooming area stretches nearly 200m along Nguyen Thong tourist route. This is a crape myrtle variety that grows naturally in bushes at the foot of the hill, contributing to enriching the landscape on the road from the center of Phan Thiet ward to Mui Ne.
The flower viewing location is only about 4km from the center of Phan Thiet. Nearby is also the Cham Po Sah Inu tower complex, helping visitors easily combine sightseeing, cultural discovery and natural experience on the same journey.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Thuy ward - said that the locality encourages people and tourists to come to admire flowers and take photos, but it is necessary to raise awareness of landscape protection, not to break branches or cut flowers as props to preserve the natural beauty of the crape myrtle hill.
The lilac purple color in the early days of the rainy season is bringing a new highlight to the tourist route to Mui Ne, contributing to creating more attraction and memorable experiences for tourists when coming to the Lam Dong sea area.
