Located right in the center of the Capital, Thong Nhat Park has long been considered one of Hanoi's "green lungs". The park is loved for its long-standing entertainment games. Among them, the mini train running around the park is receiving a lot of attention.
The train in the park is named Thong Nhat after the park. A corner of Thong Nhat Park adjacent to Le Duan street - where the Thong Nhat train still runs every day on the North-South railway line.
Truong Giang (Hanoi) is one of the new visitors who has the opportunity to experience trains in the park. Although the operation is not new, for many tourists like Mr. Giang, the train evokes many childhood memories.

With a ticket price of 30,000 VND/trip, each trip lasts about 15-20 minutes, the journey takes passengers on a full tour inside the park. The journey brings many interesting viewing angles, especially sections passing through flower gardens, green lawns, television towers...
The train has 3 stops to pick up passengers, named familiarly Hanoi Station, Hue Station and Saigon Station. Among them, Hanoi Station is the main departure point, with staff directly selling tickets as well as announcing running hours by loudspeaker for tourists to easily follow.
Sharing about his first experience, Mr. Truong Giang said: "Although I have seen the train run many times, this is the first time I have tried sitting on a mini train. Even, my two friends and I missed a trip because the train was full. Therefore, when waiting for the next trip, I feel much more excited.
The young male tourist commented that although the train is old, when moving it is slightly shaky and emits a slight noise, it does not affect the overall experience much. In recent days, Hanoi weather has been cool and sunny. Many tourists have visited Thong Nhat Park to enjoy the atmosphere at the transitional time.
Because the train is slow, I feel very comfortable and enjoy the scenery, and can admire the surrounding landscape of the park," he added.
However, the park is in the process of renovation, some areas have been dug up and surrounded with corrugated iron. However, he believes that when Thong Nhat Park is completed, the space will become more beautiful and attractive.
Not only attracting families with young children, mini trains are also the choice of many groups of young people and couples who want to find a light experience in the heart of the city.
During the trip, Truong Giang's group sat in the same car with a mother and child: "The little girl seemed extremely excited, constantly restless and even asked her mother to buy cotton candy from a street vendor at the departure station. That moment suddenly reminded me of my childhood when I went to the park or zoo with my mother and siblings.
Experiences at Thong Nhat Park are becoming an interesting highlight for the journey to explore Hanoi. The park has many playgrounds and activities that evoke childhood memories for many generations of visitors such as mirror houses, wooden horse wheels, dragon roller coasters, swings...
