Inside the heritage train running on the most beautiful road in Vietnam

After 2 years of operation, the heritage train has performed more than 2,800 trips, serving over 440,000 passengers, ensuring absolute safety. Notably, international visitors account for about 50-55%, showing the attractiveness of this railway tourism product.

Đơn vị vận tải cũng đẩy mạnh liên kết với hơn 140 doanh nghiệp lữ hành tại Huế và Đà Nẵng, triển khai nhiều chương trình kích cầu. Nhờ đó, tuyến tàu không chỉ thu hút khách nội địa mà còn góp phần quảng bá hình ảnh du lịch miền Trung ra quốc tế.

The transport unit also promoted links with more than 140 travel businesses in Hue City and Da Nang, implementing many stimulus programs. Thanks to that, the train route not only attracts domestic tourists but also contributes to promoting the image of Central Vietnam tourism internationally.

In this upgrade, the train is designed in a modern direction but still imbued with heritage. The exterior stands out with the characteristic purple color of Hue City, combined with the bright gray color of Da Nang and the highlight of the bronze gold logo.

Bên trong, tàu gồm 12 toa, mỗi toa 56 ghế mềm. Toàn bộ ghế được thay mới, có thể xoay 180 độ, giúp hành khách luôn ngồi thuận chiều di chuyển. Toa VIP 32 chỗ gây ấn tượng với phong cách hoài cổ, mang hơi hướng kiến trúc Pháp, tạo không gian thưởng thức cà phê, âm nhạc và ngắm cảnh.

Inside, the train consists of 12 carriages, each carriage with 56 soft seats. All seats are replaced, can rotate 180 degrees, helping passengers always sit in a convenient direction. The 32-seat VIP carriage impresses with its nostalgic style, with a French architectural touch, creating a space to enjoy coffee, music and sightseeing.

Khoang cộng đồng được thiết kế mở, tích hợp các hoạt động văn hóa, ẩm thực và giới thiệu sản phẩm địa phương. Họa tiết trang trí tái hiện ngói âm dương của Huế và đèn lồng Hội An, thể hiện qua nghệ thuật cẩn khảm xà cừ và gốm xanh lam.

The community space is designed to be open, integrating cultural and culinary activities and introducing local products. Decorative motifs recreate yin and yang tiles of Hue City and Hoi An lanterns, expressed through the art of mother-of-pearl inlay and blue ceramics.
