According to the reporter's investigation, the grass hill that is causing a fever belongs to Tia Lo B village, Pu Nhi commune, Dien Bien province, imbued with the characteristics of the wild grass ecosystem of the Northwest highlands.
With an area of about 1 hectare, the vegetation here is mainly thatch grass that develops completely naturally. Unlike many highland destinations that often have dangerous terrain, Tia Lo thatch hill is located along the inter-village concrete road.
This place is about 40 km from the center of Dien Bien province and about 10 km from the center of Na Son commune. Convenient transportation, relatively easy roads help visitors access by many types of vehicles, including low-chassis cars.



In mid-April, the time when grass flowers bloom simultaneously, covering a hillside in white, creating an extremely eye-catching space.
In just a short time, this location has attracted a large number of tourists. Especially on weekends, hundreds of people from Pu Nhi, Na Son communes or Dien Bien Phu, Muong Thanh wards have flocked here to admire and check-in for photos.
Mr. Dinh Nguyen, a photography enthusiast in Dien Bien, said that Tia Lo is truly a creative space with great potential.
This is a very good'photoshopping' location thanks to natural light and a deep background, easily creating soulful photos. This place is especially suitable for taking portraits or gentle, poetic concepts. Just keep in time with early morning or late afternoon and the photos will be very beautiful" - Mr. Dinh Nguyen said.


Ms. Thu Trang (Tuan Giao commune) said: "The first time I took photos at the grass hill, I was really overwhelmed by the white space like in movies. This poetic scene helps me get satisfactory pictures.
Informing reporters, Mr. Vu A Senh - Head of Tia Lo B village, Pu Nhi commune said that this hill area was originally a field of a household in the village, mainly growing grass for animal husbandry. Since photos of the grass hill were posted on social networks, tourists have started to come.


If the number of visitors continues to be stable, the village will hold a meeting to discuss and mobilize households to maintain the grass area. At the same time, we plan to arrange reasonable walkways, reminding tourists not to go into the middle of the beach to avoid breaking and collapsing" - Mr. Senh said.
The village head also hopes to combine this location with community tourism activities, introducing local culture and cuisine so that people have more livelihoods, increase income while still protecting the ecological environment.
