The exhibition is taking place at the Center for Culture and Arts, No. 22 Hang Buom. The exhibition introduces 36 ceramic works, selected from two main groups of works, "Echoes" and "Return" composed in the period 2021 - 2025. Not emphasizing illustrative or direct storytelling, the works in "Khoi Thuy" aim to express emotions, mental states and the silent movements of the human interior.
In the exhibition space, pottery is no longer the pure material of craftsmanship or decoration. Under the hands of Nguyen Thu Thuy, pottery becomes a means to preserve memories, dialogue with time and reflect the sophisticated changes of emotions.
The works in the "Resonance" collection take a restrained form, leaning towards blocks, surfaces and rhythms. The curves, cracks, and sediments on the ceramic surface evoke a feeling like traces of time, of sounds echoing from the past. The space is hollow - dense and intentional repetition creates a meditative feeling, inviting viewers to slow down to listen to themselves.

Each statue is a "voice" from different emotional states: there is joy, anger, love, hate, but all are enveloped in the inherent silence of pottery. The works bear clear personal imprints, showing how artists exploit traditional pottery techniques as a means to express contemporary visual thinking.

Accompanying "Tieng Vong" is the collection "Luan Hoi" with 6 circular sculptures. If "Tieng Vong" is a fragmentation of personal emotions, then "Luan Hoi" is a comprehensive view of the laws of movement of the universe.

The master of "Romance" delves into the concept of circulation, regeneration and transformation. The works do not aim for absolute perfection but accept the imperfections of materials: cracks, roughness, the randomness of fire. These factors create expressive values for the work, such as how humans exist and change through each stage.
The exhibition does not impose a way of understanding, does not give rigid messages. Instead, "Khoi Thuy" opens up an experiential journey, where each audience can find their own "starting point" in the relationship between people, materials and time.
Taking place until the end of January 7, 2026, "Khoi Thuy" is not only a personal milestone for artist Nguyen Thu Thuy, but also leaves a mark for contemporary Vietnamese pottery art. In the context of increasingly diverse art forms and materials, the exhibition shows that pottery is still a land rich in potential for discovery, creativity and dialogue with the profound problems of today's people.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
