In the last days of the year, the image of young people in traditional ao dai costumes radiantly posing by the roof of the Ruong house, communal house yard, Neu tree or old kitchen becomes familiar.
Not just simply a fun and souvenir photo opportunity, this is also an opportunity for young people to experience culture, touch memories, customs and traditional lifestyles in a very close way.
One of the destinations attracting a large number of young people is Nha Trang Xua Craft Village (Nam Nha Trang ward).

Here, the Old Tet Festival is organized, quite fully recreating the space of Vietnamese villages with stilt houses, communal house yards, kitchens, Tet sticks and many familiar household items of the previous generation.
The rustic but emotional old space has become an ideal "background" for many young people to preserve memories of the days leading up to Tet.
Besides the excitement of local youth, the old Tet space at Nha Trang Xua Craft Village also left many special impressions on international tourists.

Mr. Michael Robert Thompson - a tourist from Australia - said that he happened to visit while traveling in Khanh Hoa and did not think he would have the opportunity to experience such a lively traditional Tet space.
I have heard about Vietnamese Tet, but when I stepped in here, I truly felt the atmosphere of reunion and the warmth of this holiday.
Everything from wooden roofs, kitchens, Neu trees to handmade cakes is very special. It's not just an exhibition, but a recreated part of life," he shared.
What impressed the male tourist the most were the experiential activities such as wrapping banh chung and asking for calligraphy at the beginning of the year.
I was instructed to wrap banh chung myself, although not skillful, everyone was happy and laughed. I clearly felt the connection between generations. In my country, traditional festivals like this are becoming increasingly rare, so this experience is truly memorable," he said.
Meanwhile, Ms. Kim Ji-eun, a Korean tourist, expressed her excitement when wearing the ao dai and taking photos in the space of ancient Vietnamese villages.
I feel like I'm back in a different era. The space is very peaceful, completely different from the bustle outside. I think this is a very good way to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends," she said.
Positive feelings from international tourists show the attractiveness of traditional values when organized methodically and creatively.
This is also an opening for units to continue to improve product quality, making Vietnamese traditional Tet a unique cultural experience in the eyes of international friends.

Besides sightseeing, tourists, especially young people, also participate in many experiential activities such as wrapping banh chung, banh tet, making Tet jam, asking for letters at the beginning of the year, playing folk games... These activities not only create a bustling atmosphere but also help young people understand more about Tet customs and habits.
