From the beginning of June to now, at the gateway leading to Mui Ne tourist area, Da Ong Dia beach in Phu Thuy ward (Lam Dong province) attracts many tourists to stop for photos thanks to the sea dyke highlighted by tetrapod stone blocks painted in many prominent colors.

Tetrapods are concrete blocks with three solid legs at the bottom and one leg upwards, which function to block waves.
Instead of the usual concrete color, the tetrapod blocks here are dressed in many bright colors, creating an eye-catching space by the beach.

This is an item belonging to the Ong Dia Beach Park Project started by Phu Thuy Ward People's Committee in April with a total investment of 11 billion VND. After about 2 months of implementation, this area gradually revealed the appearance of a marine park with natural habitat but still dynamic and modern.
On weekends, Da Ong Dia beach attracts many locals and tourists to visit and take photos.

Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Tho, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said that she has been to Mui Ne beach many times, but this return brings many new impressions.
This year, the highlight is that the stones in the sea dyke are painted with many colors, looking fresher. I feel the sea dyke is more beautiful, attracting attention" - Ms. Tho shared.

Not only attracting young people to check-in, the sea dyke area with colorful tetrapod blocks is also attractive to older people. Near the sea dyke area is a sandy beach with many basket boats of fishermen anchored, creating more highlights for the scenery and many photo angles for tourists.
Da Ong Dia beach has long been a familiar place, associated with the livelihood of local fishermen. These unique cultural and living values have become the foundation for the locality to orient the renovation and development of this place into a marine park serving the community, while preserving local identity.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Thuy ward said that the colorful tetrapod block painting item has been completed, attracting many people to check-in in the past time.
The remaining items of the Ong Dia Stone Beach Park Project are continuing to be built and renovated to serve people and tourists in the near future, expected to be completed before September 2, 2026" - Mr. Thong shared.

The Ong Dia Stone Beach Park project not only contributes to changing the landscape of the coastal area but also opens up new development directions for public space associated with local tourism.
From tetrapod blocks that only have the function of wave-breaking, creating more colors and landscape highlights has contributed to refreshing a familiar place in a close, modern way but still retaining its inherent characteristics.
