With advantages from climate and natural landscapes, Son La province in recent years has become a green tourism experience destination chosen by many domestic and international tourists.
Ms. Kieu Thi Chinh (tour guide in Son La province) shared that in recent years, experiential tourism activities associated with plum gardens have been very developed, becoming a service that attracts tourists in Son La province. Especially, the early summer is also the time when Moc Chau plateau enters the plum ripening season, her unit has provided experiential and sightseeing tours for tourists recently.
At this time, every weekend, the road to the plum gardens is always bustling with cars taking visitors for experience, especially in Thao Nguyen ward with the famous Na Ka plum valley, beautiful plum gardens in Pa Khen residential group are places that attract a lot of tourists" - Ms. Chinh said.

From a management perspective, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism - said that green tourism needs to be understood more comprehensively than just stopping at environmental protection factors or limiting single-use plastic.
According to Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, this is a development method based on three core principles such as efficient use of natural resources, limiting negative impacts on the environment and prioritizing responsible products, in which ecotourism plays a key role.
The nature of green tourism is a new development model, requiring a balance between 3 pillars such as economy (wise resource management), society (respect for indigenous culture, sharing benefits with the community) and environment (reducing pollution, protecting biodiversity). In particular, in recent years, green tourism cannot be separated from digital transformation to enhance customer experience and regulate visitor flow effectively.
Meanwhile, Hanoi Capital possesses a great advantage with diverse tourism resources, from historical and cultural heritage values to ecological landscapes. The highlight of Hanoi's green tourism is not only in central areas such as West Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake but also expands to suburban areas such as Huong Son, Ba Vi, Soc Son.
Currently, Hanoi city is promoting the planning and development of destinations towards natural tourism, including:
Ba Vi and Huong Son areas: Orientation to become a national tourist area, harmoniously combining ecological and spiritual elements.
West Lake area: Deploying a project to develop into a green tourist destination associated with entertainment and high-quality services.
Duong Lam ancient village: Is being prepared for participation in the "Best Tourism Village" award to preserve rural landscapes, biodiversity and unique cultural and culinary values.
