Located about 40 minutes from the center of Can Tho City, Mua Xuan eco-tourism area (Tan Phuoc Hung commune) nearly 130ha is likened to a "bird kingdom" in the middle of the delta.
The space here almost still retains its inherent wildness with melaleuca forests, water hyacinths, overlapping canals and a rarely seen diverse ecosystem.

The exploration journey begins when the speedboat glides deep into the melaleuca line about 4km long. On both sides are towering melaleuca trees. Occasionally, a flock of birds suddenly descends to forage and then suddenly flies up, leaving light waves on the water surface.
According to people who have been attached to the tourist area for many years, this place is currently home to more than 200 species of animals, including about 50 species of storks. Many rare species such as giang sen, cò nhạn, snake-necked birds or điên điển still choose these cajeput forests as breeding and shelter.
At dawn or when sunset falls, the scene becomes more special. From all over the fields, birds take turns flying back to their nests, covering a sky. The sound of birds calling their hares echoes throughout the forest, making the space bustling.

First time setting foot in Vietnam, a group of tourists from France expressed surprise when experiencing a journey through the melaleuca forest by speedboat. For them, the feeling of sitting in the pristine nature, observing wild birds right in the natural living environment is hard to find in ordinary tourist destinations.
Visiting the Mekong Delta region, Ms. Anaïs (26 years old, French tourist) could not hide her excitement when immersed in the green space of the Spring Melaleuca forest. She said she was particularly impressed with the experience of sitting on a speedboat weaving through the Melaleuca forest, listening to birds calling in the wild nature.

Leaders of Southern Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company - the management and exploitation unit of Mua Xuan Eco-tourism Area said that all tourism activities here are developed based on the existing natural ecosystem, minimizing intervention that changes the landscape and living environment of flora and fauna.
We always put conservation first. Not only preserving the green color of the melaleuca forest, the unit also focuses on protecting birds, storks and freshwater aquatic resources. Thanks to that, the ecosystem here has developed stably, and the number of wild birds nesting is increasing year by year," the company leader shared.
According to the company, the unit regularly coordinates with the forest ranger force to organize patrols, supervision, and install monitoring systems to ensure a safe living environment for animals. In the dry season, forest fire prevention and fighting work is also strictly implemented.
Not only attractive by its pristine beauty, this place is also a favorite destination for many international tourists. Currently, most of the visitors here are foreign tourists through travel companies, hotels and affiliated resorts.
After visiting famous tourist attractions in the center of Can Tho City, tourists only take about 40 minutes to get to the Spring Tourist Area. On average, we welcome 400 to 500 international visitors per week. Meanwhile, domestic tourists mainly choose self-sufficient tourism to experience the peaceful natural space here," the company leader said.
What makes this place attractive is the original beauty of nature. Each canal, each cajeput forest and each flock of wild birds are preserved over time. It is this peace and closeness that has made this place a favorite stop for many international tourists when coming to Can Tho.
