Unlike the stuffiness in the central area of Can Tho City, the space at Con Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative (Binh Thuy ward) these days always maintains its airiness and coolness.
From early morning, the ferry terminals taking passengers to the islet have been operating at almost full capacity.

Here, visitors not only experience typical tourism products such as watching snakehead fish fly, fish massage or making folk cakes by hand, but also freely sit under the shady trees to enjoy fruits in the garden.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "This year the weather is too hot, the outdoor temperature sometimes reaches 37 - 38 degrees Celsius, so my family decided to choose Con Son for holidays. Just stepping onto the islet, we can feel the steam of water blowing in very cool, not feeling suffocated at all".

According to Ms. Phan Kim Ngan (Director of Con Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative), to best serve tourists in hot weather conditions, gardeners have proactively arranged additional sheltered rest areas, serving local specialty cool drinks.
Accordingly, focus on preserving green space and rusticness. Tourists like the feeling of being "hidden" from the sun in the garden, enjoying the river breeze, which is the strength of garden tourism this season.

If Con Son has the rustic beauty of the Mekong Delta countryside, then Cantho Eco Resort (Nhon Ai commune) attracts tourists by the delicate combination of high-class resorts and a large ecological garden space. With most of the area covered with green trees, this place is likened to a green "oasis" in the heart of Tay Do.
Especially, on days when temperatures reach record levels, swimming pools become the perfect "lifesaver" for families, especially young children, to have fun and cool down.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Ninh Kieu ward) expressed: "Instead of traveling far and tired under the hot sun, I took my family to the resort to rest. The space here is very green, so the temperature is much lower than outside. In the afternoon, the whole family swims in the pool together, relaxing and very refreshed.

In fact, in recent years, garden ecotourism in Can Tho has not only been a temporary solution in hot spells but has become a sustainable brand.
The shift to open spaces, close to nature, shows that tourist tastes are increasingly focusing on health and spiritual experiences.
With the forecast that hot weather will continue to last, tourism activities associated with rivers, gardens and water relaxation activities in Can Tho promise to continue to attract tourists.
