Currently, Hue City has 3 walking streets: the Western Quarter on Pham Ngu Lao, Chu Van An, Vo Thi Sau streets; Hue Imperial Citadel on Le Huan, 23/8 streets; and the newest is Hai Ba Trung street.
Pham Ngu Lao - Chu Van An - Vo Thi Sau walking street in Phu Hoi ward, Hue city is an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign tourists every weekend. Stretching over 1km, it operates from 6pm to 2am the next morning on Friday and Saturday evenings and from 6pm to midnight on Sundays every week.
Hai Ba Trung Walking Street is designed with the idea of creating two clusters of modern artistic light points, 3D mapping as check-in symbols for Hai Ba Trung Walking Street at the nine-storey VNPT Building and Cinestar Cinema.
Hue Imperial City Night Market operates from 7pm to 11pm every Friday and Saturday at Ngo Mon Square. The night market has three main stages, four community performance venues and 27 stalls selling and displaying traditional handicrafts with the participation of the community.

The coastal city's Bach Dang walking street just opened in the summer of 2024. Bach Dang walking street operates from 3pm to midnight every day, offering residents and visitors many unique cultural and street art activities.
Bach Dang walking street has 12 kiosks along the entire sidewalk east of Bach Dang street. The kiosks will use containers and will be invested and decorated by the businesses themselves. At the same time, there will be 5 clusters of mobile sales vehicles, 15 vehicles on the east lane of Bach Dang street.
The city will use 1 lane on the east side of Bach Dang Street on weekdays, the remaining 3 lanes will be one-way. Place signs with a 40 km/h hourly speed limit and hourly motor vehicle restrictions.
In particular, the walking route will connect with the walking route across Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and Tran Hung Dao Street, as well as across Dragon Bridge, becoming a tourist highlight for locals and visitors.
