    Bao Hai Linh Thong Tu has fully recreated the architectural features of ancient Vietnamese pagodas from the 17th - 18th centuries, opening up a meditation space in the heart of Ha Long heritage.

    The name of the pagoda is composed of details with profound meanings: Bao (protected treasure), Hai (vast ocean), Linh (sacred manifestation), Thong (green pine forest embracing Ba Deo mountain) and Tu (pagoda). In short, "Bao Hai Linh Thong Tu" means a sacred pagoda located in the middle of a pine hill with the wish that it is a treasure to guard.     Spreading over a total area of about 4,000m2, this spiritual space is harmoniously arranged according to the traditional axis of the ancient Vietnamese pagoda architecture of the Northern Delta region. The complex includes all items: Tam Quan Gate, Tam Bao Main Hall, Ancestral House, Mother House, Bell Tower - Drum Tower, both sides of the left and right corridors and the spiritual highlight of the Five Phuong Pagoda.     Bao Hai Linh Thong Tu is also a place to preserve 106 ancient statues that are extremely elaborately crafted. Among them, the most prominent are 66 bronze statues cast originally according to the system of worship statues at the most famous ancient pagodas in the North such as: Ba Da Pagoda, Chan Tien Pagoda, Vua Pagoda, Mia Pagoda, Tay Phuong Pagoda and Vinh Nghiem Pagoda.
