In April, Cuc Phuong National Park attracts a large number of tourists thanks to the butterfly season and pristine natural scenery. In particular, the image of a giant rattan tree in the forest is becoming a highlight that many people cannot help but be surprised when witnessing it with their own eyes.
Sharing about her trip, tourist Le Dieu Hoa (Hai Phong) said that she chose a quite reasonable time to visit to enjoy the quiet space.
I visit conservation areas, museums, and then participate in a nightlife tour to see fireflies," she said.
The biggest impression on Ms. Hoa is the area with the giant rattan tree. "Standing there, I immediately thought of the Japanese animated film "The Secret World of Arrietty". I felt like I was stepping into a fairy tale world because everything around me seemed to be magnified, making me smaller," she added.

Although not the first time to Cuc Phuong, this return trip brought her many different experiences. Having been to Cuc Phuong when she was young, Ms. Hoa still remembers many memories of visiting the thousand-year-old cho tree.
Returning this time, the female tourist realized that the facilities have changed a lot, more convenient. Tourists can use the electric car of the national park or ride personal motorbikes to stop and admire the scenery at any time.
Thu Thao - a Phu Tho tourist - also had a 2-day 1-night trip to Cuc Phuong forest after a long time of nurturing a plan. Traveling more than 100km, taking about 3 hours, Thu Thao especially wanted to see fireflies - something very difficult to see in the city - on this trip.
The giant ráy tree growing area also made her strongly impressed. "Before leaving, I thought the images on the internet might have been edited. But when I went into the forest and saw them with my own eyes, I was really surprised because the trees were very large. I had to stop immediately to take pictures," she said.

She added: "Not just one tree, along the road in the forest, there are also many other large rattan trees. The deeper I go, the more I encounter such trees. Standing next to the tree, I feel very small, like lost in a fairy tale world in a movie.
That morning, the air was chilly and very fresh. When there was sunshine, the forest seemed to light up and butterflies began to fly out. Although it was sunny at noon, the forest was still cool. Therefore, the female tourist had a successful butterfly "hunt".
Regarding the experience of "hunting" butterflies, Thu Thao said: "I was shared a small trick that can use soft drinks and shrimp paste to attract butterflies. However, I only shoot in places that are already available, to avoid affecting the environment.

The combination of pristine nature, the brilliant butterfly season and giant rattan trees has brought visitors unforgettable experiences. For many people, the journey to Cuc Phuong is not only an exploration trip but also an opportunity to immerse themselves in a "fairy tale world" in real life.
