The lake area impresses with more than 10,500 hectares of water surface spread throughout Quynh Nhai area. In April, the lake water is clear blue, you can see ripples reflecting clouds. Occasionally, boats catching shrimp and fish going back and forth create waves crashing into the shore, looking like a watercolor painting.
In the morning, the lake surface is as calm as a mirror, when the sun rises, the water color turns jade green, standing out in the middle of overlapping limestone mountains. Fresh air, wind blowing from the lake is cool, creating a comfortable feeling for visitors.
The first stop for many tourists is Pa Uon bridge - the bridge with the highest pillars in Vietnam spanning the Da River. From above the bridge, looking into the distance is a vast sea of water, dotted with small islands undulating in the blue water.
At the foot of the bridge, the water surface is always clear blue, which is a favorable condition for people to develop cage fish farming.
From Pa Uon wharf, visitors board a boat to explore the lake. The journey opens up a majestic landscape of mountains and waters, where limestone mountains reflect on the gentle water. Heart Island is a prominent stop, with airy space, rowing services, lake bathing, and photography.
Next, Uy Phong Bay brings a new experience with floating houses, kayaking, and fish foot massage services. Meanwhile, Binh Yen Bay is attractive for its tranquility, suitable for relaxation and enjoying national cuisine.
The journey also takes tourists to Da Giang island - a new destination that is being invested in resort and camping services. Further away is Ban Bon hot spring or Pauon Ecolakes eco-tourism area with a system of floating houses and homestays facing the lake, creating highlights for lakeside tourism.
Not only scenery, Quynh Nhai also preserves many unique cultural values. Visitors can visit spiritual sites such as Nang Han Temple, Linh Son Thuy Tu Temple, and worship Buddha statues facing the lake.
Traditional festivals such as year-end hair washing or boat racing at the beginning of January every year contribute to creating a unique identity, attracting tourists to experience.
