Located at an altitude of more than 1,000m above sea level, Hong Thai commune is one of the highest mountainous localities in the province, with a cool climate all year round. Hong Thai commune owns more than 80ha of beautiful rice fields like a silk carpet across the rolling hills.
Especially in autumn, this place attracts many tourists because of the picturesque scene of ripe rice fields, not inferior to any famous fields in Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Sa Pa...
Born and raised in Tuyen Quang, Ms. Hoang Thuy Hanh, 30 years old, cannot hide her love, respect and pride in the scenery of her homeland: “In autumn, the vast fields become more brilliant than ever, creating a scene that is both poetic and interesting. At this time, ethnic people also work hard to harvest the fruits of their labor all year. It is truly a picture of labor filled with emotions.”
Ms. Hanh affirmed that at this time of year, from backpackers to nature lovers, everyone flocks here to check-in and take photos. She herself is no exception, taking the opportunity to capture beautiful memories next to the ripe rice fields.
“I feel the majesty and beauty of my homeland. The scent of ripe rice wafts through the air, and the sound of birds chirping in the distance, immersing me in a truly vivid landscape,” Ms. Hanh excitedly shared.
Ms. Hanh said she had admired the ripe rice scene at many famous locations in the northern mountainous regions such as Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai), Hoang Su Phi (Ha Giang)... However, the fields in Hong Thai, Na Hang still left her with the most special feelings.
The road to Hong Thai commune is easy to travel, so visitors can rent a motorbike to experience the feeling of wandering the roads, comfortably admiring the poetic nature.
In addition to admiring the natural scenery, tourists can also experience many traditional festivals as well as enjoy specialties and experience the unique culture of the Dao ethnic group.
“Every year in September and October, Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang organizes the Hong Thai Golden Season Festival. This is an ideal opportunity for tourists to visit and shop for OCOP products, agricultural products, souvenirs... of Na Hang district. In addition, tourists have the opportunity to experience Don hill glamping service, cloud hunting, walking, checking-in, enjoying cuisine, experiencing life with Dao and Tay ethnic people... extremely interesting", Ms. Hanh shared.
In addition to the picturesque rice fields, Ms. Hanh suggests that visitors can participate in other activities such as boating on the Na Hang hydroelectric lake, visiting the sacred Pac Ta temple, the villages of the Dao and Tay ethnic groups, bathing in Pac Ban waterfall or camping to enjoy the scenery, enjoying the most relaxing moments.
Despite its beautiful and majestic natural scenery and many destinations with rich cultural and historical values, Hong Thai has not really attracted many tourists. This will certainly be an ideal destination this fall for visitors to combine cultural culinary experiences with relaxation, immerse themselves in nature, and recharge their batteries after tiring hours of studying and working.
