Attractive tourist destination
On June 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, said that the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of the province is actively coordinating with local authorities to promote the potential of 7-storey waterfall tourism and Thai Nguyen village Muong Dan in Tien Phong commune (old Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district).

The community tourism destination in the ancient Thai village of Muong Dan and the 7-storey waterfall complex is one of the attractive tourist destinations in the West of Nghe An, with a combination of beautiful natural landscapes and unique Thai ethnic culture.
Visitors coming here will not only enjoy the fresh space of nature but also explore the life and customs of the local people.
Hanh Dich commune is now Tien Phong commune after the arrangement, located in the mountainous area northwest of Nghe An province. The locality is favored by nature with a rich ecosystem, cool climate and diverse vegetation. The 7-storey waterfall complex is one of the highlights of this area, attracting visitors with its majestic beauty, with waterfalls winding in the middle of the old forest.

In addition, this is also the place where the ancient Thai ethnic people lived, with traditional stilt houses and a culture imbued with identity.
The community tourism destination in the ancient Thai village of Muong Dan is one of the places that still retains the traditional cultural values of the Thai people.
Visitors here will experience interesting activities such as weaving brocade fabric, enjoying typical ethnic dishes such as crab frog, run-off chicken, beef, and participating in traditional cultural activities such as gongs, bamboo jumps or campfires.
Sustainable development and environmental protection

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, community tourism in Muong Dan village not only contributes to preserving ethnic culture but also brings economic development opportunities to local people.
Thanks to the development of tourism, many households in the village have improved their livelihoods, while preserving stilt houses, brocade products, and traditional Thai crafts.
In recent years, local authorities have actively supported and improved facilities for households participating in community tourism, from building homestays to upgrading amenities to serve tourists.

Visitors not only enjoy the wonderful natural scenery but also have the opportunity to participate in environmental protection activities such as waterfall bathing, SUP boat riding, cycling, or participate in fishing activities, helping to raise awareness of nature protection.
Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong, Deputy Director of Nghe An Province Department of Tourism, highly appreciated community tourism in Muong Dan village: The sustainable development model not only brings income to local people but also helps preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the Thai ethnic group. We hope that this model will be replicated and become a bright spot in tourism development in Nghe An".
