Located in the middle of the majestic Hoang Lien Son range, Hoang Lien National Park has long been considered the "green lung" of Sa Pa.
Not only playing an important role in ecosystem conservation, this place has also become a check-in location sought after by many young people thanks to its pristine, magical beauty as if stepping out of a fairy tale.

Established in 2002, the national park has an area of nearly 30,000 hectares, stretching across Lao Cai and Lai Chau.
With altitudes ranging from 1,000 to over 3,000 meters above sea level, this area possesses diverse terrain and a characteristic high mountain climate, creating ideal conditions for a rich ecosystem to develop.
Hoang Lien's space is strongly impressed by the deep green primeval forests, layers upon layers of ancient trees interspersed with dense vegetation.

This place is likened to a "living museum" of nature when it gathers a series of rare animal and plant species.
In particular, the mossy forests, sunlight through the foliage creates a blurry scene, making anyone who sets foot there feel like they are lost in another world.

That beauty has made Hoang Lien a "hot" check-in spot for young people. Traps through the forest, shaggy forest corners or spaces opening up to distant valleys have become ideal settings for photo sets imbued with mountain and forest flavors.
Friend Pham Ngoc Ha Vy (Hai Phong) shared: "I used to think Sa Pa only had towns and familiar tourist attractions, but when I entered Hoang Lien National Park, I saw that the nature here is as beautiful as a fairy tale. Every corner can be photographed, especially the forest sections with sunlight passing through are very impressive".

Meanwhile, Ho Linh Dan (Nghe An) said: "I like the feeling of walking in the forest the most, both exploring and taking photos. The air is very fresh, quiet, completely different from crowded places. This is truly an ideal place for those who like to both travel and enjoy nature.

One of the favorite experiences here is cross-forest trekking. The routes from Tram Ton to Fansipan peak or the journey to explore the old forest bring many different perspectives on Hoang Lien nature.
On the way, visitors can encounter brilliant rhododendron forests according to season, hundred-year-old ancient trees or small streams murmuring in the deep forest - all creating a vivid natural picture.

Especially in the spring, this place is known as the "royal throne of azaleas" when dozens of flowers bloom together, covering the mountainside with brilliant colors. This is also a time that attracts a large number of tourists and young people to check-in and record impressive moments.
However, to make the journey of exploration complete and safe, visitors should also pay attention to some things when coming to Hoang Lien National Park. The weather in the high mountains changes quite quickly, it can be sunny and then rain immediately, so you should prepare thin raincoats or folding umbrellas, along with slipper-proof sneakers.
In addition, tourists should arrange a day trip and return itinerary, limit moving in the evening. The road through O Quy Ho Pass is quite winding, visibility is limited when it is dark or foggy, posing many risks. Being proactive in time and preparing carefully will help the trip be both complete and safe.
