In January of the year Binh Ngo 2026, many large traditional festivals will take place in Gia Loc commune (Hai Phong city), attracting a large number of local people and tourists from all directions to participate, spring travel, incense offering, and cultural and spiritual activities at the beginning of the year.
The beginning is the Traditional Festival of Thuong Coc Temple (belonging to the ancient Thuong Coc village area, now Gia Bui, Binh De, Cao Ly three villages), opening on the morning of January 12 of the Binh Ngo year. The temple is where the people of the three villages worship the village tutelary god - famous general Nguyen Cong Nguyen, who contributed to helping the Ly Dynasty king defeat the Song invaders in the 12th century.
The relic was ranked as a national relic in 1991, and is an important religious activity point for the community in the region. The festival is organized with solemn rituals, along with many cultural activities, folk games and fireworks to celebrate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the early spring days.

Next is the Traditional Festival of Lang Xuyen Communal House National Relic (Lang Xuyen village), held for 3 days, from February 27 to March 1, 2026 (ie, January 11, 12, 13 of the Binh Ngo year), opening on the morning of January 13. Lang Xuyen Communal House is a place to worship the goddess Tu Ngoc Hoa (Thien Tien Ngoc Tuong Quynh Hoa Princess) - the person who helped the Trung Sisters fight invaders to save the country in 40 AD.
According to the plan, the 2026 festival is organized on a large scale, including full ceremonial and festival parts, with activities such as traditional rituals, cultural exchanges, sports, processions and many folk games, creating highlights for the spring festival season in the area.
At the same time, the Spring Festival of Quan Dao Communal House historical relic (Quan Dao village) is also held on February 27th and 28th, 2026 (ie, January 11th and 12th of the Binh Ngo year).
