The Management Board of Tranh Temple relic (Ninh Giang commune, Hai Phong city) has just issued a plan to organize activities during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, aiming to preserve and promote the value of national-level historical and cultural relics, while meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of people and tourists from all directions.
According to the plan, the activities are organized with the aim of honoring the merits of predecessors and historical figures worshiped at the relic, expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", contributing to propagating and promoting the typical cultural values of the Tranh Temple traditional festival.
The activities must be organized according to traditional rituals, ensuring solemnity, safety, health, thrift, high educational value, compliance with the provisions of law; and at the same time mobilize the participation of the entire political system of Ninh Giang commune and the active response of the local people.

The time for organizing activities takes place from February 15, 2026 to February 22, 2026 (ie from December 28 of the Giap Thin year to January 6 of the Binh Ngo year). The venue is at the Den Tranh National Historical and Cultural Relic Area, Tranh Xuyen village, Ninh Giang commune (Hai Phong city).
The relic management board will synchronously deploy decoration work, prepare Tet welcoming conditions such as: reviewing and installing lighting systems, propaganda signs, Party flags, national flags, red flags; displaying ornamental plants, flowers, peach blossoms in worship areas; arranging check-in areas near the Temple gate and the "country market corner" space within the relic grounds to serve tourists to visit and experience.
Regarding ritual activities, Tranh Temple maintains regular activities of the Management Board and the assisting group; organizes Quan worship ceremony on the afternoon of December 29th of the lunar calendar; incense offering ceremony on New Year's Eve with full traditional rituals. In parallel with that are service activities such as parking, business services organized in accordance with regulations, public price listing, ensuring safety, environmental sanitation, food safety, no soliciting, price gouging, no causing disorder, traffic jams.
The plan also clearly stipulates prohibited acts in the relic area, especially superstitious activities, gambling, burning large-scale votive paper, trading in goods of unknown origin, releasing sky lanterns, organizing illegal services within the relic and other violations of the law, in order to ensure that the festival takes place safely, civilizedly, and in accordance with traditional cultural identity.
