On the evening of December 20, in the typical cold of the highland winter, the 2025 Sa Pa snow Festival - Sa Pa Snow Festival organized by the People's Committee of Sa Pa Ward (Lao Cai Province) officially opened, attracting a large number of local people and domestic and foreign tourists.
Taking place at Sa Pa Ethnic Culture Park, this year's festival is invested in a space imbued with the identity of the highlands, with the support of many agencies, units in the area and Cooperatives. From the first hours, the stage area was packed with people and tourists eagerly waiting for the moment of "the death" in the foggy town.

The highlight of the program is a series of unique art performances, combining modern Christmas music and performances with winter festival colors. The vibrant songs and dances interspersed with the accompanying Christmas songs resound in the sparkling artificial snow space, creating a scene that is both romantic and vibrant in the cold weather of Sa Pa National Tourist Area.
experiencing the festival for the first time, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (a tourist from Hanoi) shared: "The cold weather, snowfall, watching art performances and listening to Christmas music right in the middle of Sa Pa made me feel like I was in a miniature European town. The atmosphere is very happy and warm".
Mr. Mark Johnson, a tourist from the UK, expressed his excitement: "I have been to Sa Pa many times but this is the first time I have attended the snow festival. The combination of indigenous culture and winter festival atmosphere makes Sa Pa very special.

The 2025 Tuyet Sa Pa Festival will last until Christmas, not only bringing a joyful and peaceful atmosphere during the Christmas season but also becoming a vibrant cultural - tourism destination, contributing to stimulating winter tourism at the end of the year.
Through the program, Sa Pa ward hopes to create more typical tourism products, bringing people and tourists memorable winter moments.
At the same time, it contributes to promoting socio-economic development, aiming to welcome 12.2 million visitors by 2030, achieving a revenue of 57,000 billion VND, becoming a green, unique, sustainable, smart, and international tourism city.
