In recent days, social networks have been buzzing with information about the famous oolong tea hill in Sa Pa with the cherry blossom season blooming at the end of the year about to disappear.
Instead, a project will be implemented, making many people and tourists regretful.
Regarding this, on the morning of December 4, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. To Ngoc Lien - Chairman of Sa Pa Ward People's Committee confirmed the information and said that the Ecological Urban Area Project will be implemented at the location of the oolong tea hill. Currently, the project is in the process of completing documents and reviewing procedures related to land allocation.
The project has a total investment of about VND 2,400 billion, implemented by a joint venture of Ecopark Group. A system of trees, especially cherry blossoms, will be planted in the campus to create a landscape, Mr. Lien informed.

Meanwhile, Loi Son Dien One Member Co., Ltd., the unit managing this area - informed that in 2025, the company will renovate the cherry garden so it will temporarily suspend opening the tourist attraction.
The company said the closure was to avoid the risk of accidents during the renovation process.
If someone arbitrarily enters without the companys consent and an accident occurs, we are completely not responsible, the announcement stated.
