Visit the legendary battlefield along the Bach Dang Giang River in Hai Phong

This legendary relic is located on the Bach Dang River, associated with 3 heroic sea battles against invaders in the history of Vietnam. These were Duc Vuong Ngo Quyen who defeated the Han army in 938, King Le Dai Hanh defeated the Tong army in 981, Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan defeated the Nguyen - Mong army in 1288.

Tourists coming to Bach Dang Giang not only experience cultural and historical features imbued with spiritual elements, but also admire meaningful works and admire the charming provincial landscapes.

Victory Square with an area of 2,000m2 was built floating on the Bach Dang River, where the statues of the three national heroes: Ngo Quyen, Le Dai Hanh and Tran Hung Dao were solemnly placed. Each pho is 8m high, weighing 40 tons, cast in pure bronze, with a lively style.

The stone statues in the stone statue garden illustrate the scene where our soldiers and people made Bach Dang wooden stakes to prevent foreign invasion. Every stage from cutting and tying down trees while they were still trees in the forest, to the sharp stakes at both ends, the stage of moving, carrying stakes, pulling a car, pushing stakes down to a boat, tying ropes... are all recreated very realistically.

The road to Bach Dang Giang Relic Site is large, clean and beautiful, located among rows of dark, ancient trees covered in shade.

Every year, Bach Dang Giang relic welcomes tens of thousands of tourists and locals to visit and offer incense. Every day, the relic site is open for free from 7am to 7pm.
