On the last day of the year, many young people and families come to Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam to enjoy spring and take Tet photos. The sidewalk space along Quoc Tu Giam street is decorated brilliantly to welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
The entire fence around the relic is simply tiled with bamboo and rattan, serving as the background for the clusters of horse mascot symbols, the "An Khang Thinh Vuong" banner, and the calligraphy lanterns with Quoc Ngu characters imbued with the cultural and religious identity.
This is part of the space to prepare for the 2026 Spring Calligraphy Festival, where visitors can experience asking for calligraphy at the beginning of the year and participate in traditional activities in the opposite Ho Van area.

Besides the brilliant spring space at Ho Van, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam has also become a familiar spring travel destination for many families, young people and tourists. In the ancient and solemn space, everyone together captures beautiful moments, marking the traditional Tet atmosphere in the heart of Hanoi.
On the last weekend of the Year of the Snake, Mr. Doan Quoc Tri brought his wife and children to the relic to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet.
Mr. Tri shared: "This year the atmosphere is very cheerful, truly imbued with the colors of spring. People come to visit, take photos, and then ask for letters to pray for the schooling of their children and grandchildren to be smooth. I think this is a very meaningful and commendable activity every Tet holiday.

Not only families traveling in spring, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam also attracts a large number of groups of young people. Wearing traditional ao dai, holding peach branches, red lucky money envelopes, girls radiantly pose next to mossy tiled roofs, recording fresh and energetic spring moments before the New Year.
According to the sharing of some young people, the relic space is imbued with Vietnamese traditional culture, with ancient architecture, very suitable to highlight the graceful beauty of the ao dai in the Tet photo set.
