Paragliding from the top of LangBiang is becoming a new experience attracting many tourists when coming to Da Lat. From above, the panoramic view of the pine forest, Dan Kia - Suoi Vang lake and houses faintly visible in the valley appears like a vast natural picture.
This is a sports flight activity on the top of LangBiang mountain that was allowed to be organized by functional agencies of Lam Dong province.
The take-off point is located on the top of LangBiang at an altitude of about 1,900 m above sea level. Before each flight, tourists are instructed by tour guides on safety procedures and fully equipped with protective equipment. Each person will fly with an experienced pilot, helping the journey to be safe and complete.
From above, visitors can admire the panoramic view of poetic Da Lat, green forests connecting each other, greenhouses in Lac Duong and calm Dan Kia Lake. Many people compare this to one of the most beautiful and unique viewing angles of Da Lat.
A tourist from Ho Chi Minh City shared that the moment the parachute was lifted high by the wind caused all worries to disappear. The longer it flew, the wider the scenery became, bringing a feeling of freedom and relaxation amidst majestic nature.
According to the exploitation unit, paragliding activities on LangBiang peak have only been deployed for about two months but have attracted a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Only about 10-20 flights per day are operated due to depending on wind conditions, prioritizing customers who book in advance. Many long-term tourists staying in Da Lat have returned to experience for the second time.
Each flight lasts more than an hour, taking off from LangBiang peak and landing in the lonely pine tree area by Dan Kia Lake. After completing the journey, visitors are taken back to the mountain peak by car, closing the experience of exploring Da Lat in a completely different way.
Putting paragliding sports into operation marks another new experiential tourism product in Da Lat, meeting the trend of tourism associated with exploring and conquering nature.
