Located at an altitude of over 1,000 m, Vi Ro Ngheo village, Mang Den commune, Quang Ngai province has 63 households with about 300 people, mostly Xo Dang people. The village has a fresh, cool climate all year round, and the landscape still retains its pristine features, creating favorable conditions for cymbidium orchids to grow, develop and bloom brilliantly.

From December to April every year, when cymbidium orchids are in full bloom, the whole village seems to put on a brilliant coat woven from thousands of colors of orchids. Thousands of pots of flowers bloom simultaneously, painting a colorful picture on the deep blue background of the mountains and forests. The pastel yellow, dark brown, faded pink, and gentle blue colors intertwined, harmoniously blending, creating a harmonious, natural and attractive beauty.

A special feature of Vi Ro Ngheo is that cymbidium orchids are not only grown in gardens but also present throughout living spaces. In front of the house, along the walkway, along the fence or on the hillsides... flowers are brilliant everywhere.
That beauty has made many tourists compare this place to a "healing paradise" - where people can temporarily leave the noisy pace of life to immerse themselves in nature.
Bringing orchid varieties from the forest, nurturing them to splitting branches... all are meticulously implemented, based on the experience accumulated over many years. From the initial hobby, cymbidium orchids gradually became a unique cultural feature, contributing to creating the unique identity of Vi Ro Ngheo.

The flower season is also the time when the village becomes busier. Visitors come here not only to see flowers but also to stroll on small roads filled with orchids, visit each house with brilliant gardens, or climb flower hills to admire the panoramic view of the village in the great forest.
From its natural beauty, cymbidium orchids are gradually opening up economic development directions for people. Many households have proactively propagated and expanded planting areas, forming "orchid gardens" right in their home grounds.
Starting from a few initial orchid pots, many families have now owned dozens of pots, both creating landscapes and increasing income. Currently, Vi Ro Ngheo village has more than 1,000 orchid pots.

Notably, the whole village is aiming for the goal of building a "local orchid village" brand, with the determination that each household will plant at least 50 pots. This is not only a specific target but also shows the consensus of the community in developing the economy associated with landscape preservation.
Experienced households actively share techniques, support other families to develop together, gradually forming sustainable orchid growing areas.
In parallel with that, people's awareness of forest resource protection is increasingly raised. Instead of exploiting natural orchids, people switch to breeding and planting under the forest canopy, both preserving the ecosystem and developing tourism in a green and sustainable direction. This is considered a suitable direction, contributing to preserving the pristine beauty of the great forest.
