5 most creative parade models at Ha Long Carnival 2026

Quang Ninh - The design and creation contest of the Ha Long Carnival 2026 parade model has honored 5 most outstanding models.
With the theme "Ha Long Carnaval 2026 - A Wonder that Shines the New Era", the contest recorded 54 elaborate and artistic works.
According to the Organizing Committee, most localities closely follow the theme, invest methodically from idea to construction.
Many models show creativity when harmoniously combining visual art with sound, lighting, projection technology and performing arts.
Each model car vividly reflects the potential, strengths, historical and cultural traditions; socio-economic achievements and aspirations to rise up of each locality.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 15 third prizes and 23 consolation prizes. Among them, 5 first prizes belonged to localities: Mao Khe, Tuan Chau, Yen Tu, Bai Chay and Dong Ngu.
The model of Mao Khe ward with the theme "Vietnamese coal source - Mao Khe radiant future", recreates the development journey of the mining area, highlighted by the image of the steam locomotive evoking historical milestones of the mining workers' movement and the event of establishing the first Party Cell of Quang Ninh mining area (February 23, 1930); depicting the tradition of "Discipline and Unity". Quang Ninh - During the 3-day holiday (from April 30th to May 2nd), Quang Ninh province welcomed about 810,000 tourists, with total estimated revenue of about 2,510 billion VND.
