Among the total number of tourists to Quang Ninh, domestic visitors are estimated at 782,300, international visitors are about 27,700; overnight visitors are about 330,000.
Ha Long Bay continues to be the most attractive destination with 56,480 visitors.
Some other typical tourist areas and attractions also recorded a large number of visitors such as: Sun World Ha Long Park reached 47,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum 20,510 visitors; Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage Complex 18,100 visitors; Bach Dang Relic Area 10,230 visitors; Tran House Relic Area 5,775 visitors.
At the local level, Van Don welcomed about 82,000 visitors; Uong Bi reached 29,300 visitors; Co To 19,620 visitors; Cai Chien commune 3,580 visitors.
On May 2nd alone, Quang Ninh welcomed about 210,000 visitors, of which domestic visitors reached 19,85,000, international visitors about 11,500; overnight visitors reached 80,000. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 650 billion VND.
During the day, Ha Long Bay continued to lead with 18,500 visitors; Sun World Ha Long reached 15,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum 6,920 visitors; Yen Tu 8,000 visitors; Co To 5,100 visitors; Van Don 16,000 visitors; Uong Bi 5,900 visitors; Mong Cai 2 reached 8,520 visitors.
Quang Ninh tourism during the holiday continues to maintain growth momentum, key destinations maintain stable attraction, in which Ha Long Bay is the focal point attracting tourists.
