On April 6, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that in March 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 1.65 million tourists to visit, entertain, and have fun at sea.
The number of visitors to the locality increased by about 23.7% over the same period last month. This helps total tourism revenue in March 2025 reach more than VND 1,812 billion, up 34.22% over the same period.
The total number of visitors in the first quarter of 2025 in the whole province reached more than 4.5 million visitors, reaching 24.58% of the annual plan. Total revenue from tourists in the first quarter is estimated at VND 5,083.8 billion, reaching 25.62% of the annual plan, up 18.17% over the same period.
Mr. Vu Hong Thuan - Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that in the coming time, the unit will continue to implement local tourism promotion activities; implement programs and events to serve people and tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holidays.
At the same time, continue to promote the improvement of the quantity and quality of 5-star accommodation facilities; form high-quality products and service programs in the province... towards efficiency and sustainable development.
