On July 10, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, led a delegation to survey My Thuan Trade, Service and Tourism Area (Tan Ngai ward), Mang Thit brick and pottery village project and tourist attractions in An Binh commune.
The delegation included Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Tuan, Chief of Office of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Quoc Khoi and representatives of departments, branches and localities to inspect the progress of projects and promptly remove arising difficulties and obstacles.
At My Thuan Trade, Service and Tourism Zone, representatives of Thanh Do Construction Group Joint Stock Company reported on the progress of implementing items, and at the same time proposed that the province consider removing some difficulties related to procedures and implementation conditions to accelerate the project progress.
Surveying the Mang Thit brick and pottery village project, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau requested to urgently adjust the planning of the core zone sub-area, promote investment promotion, and at the same time mobilize people to preserve the brick kiln system, preserve the landscape and promote heritage values to serve tourism development.
Regarding transport infrastructure, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with localities to soon implement the project to upgrade and expand district road 34, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, increasing connectivity to Mang Thit brick and pottery village and nearby tourist attractions.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested Nhon Phu commune to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a synchronous tourism development plan, associated with preserving craft villages, forming linkage routes and points in the region and the whole province, creating spillover effects for the local tourism industry.
In An Binh commune, the delegation surveyed Cocohome Coconut House and Ut Trinh Homestay, listened to tourism establishments share their operating situation, difficulties in service exploitation and proposed solutions to improve the experience for tourists, extend stay time and increase tourism value.
For An Binh commune, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau requested the locality to develop a master plan for tourism development associated with synchronous infrastructure investment, promoting river and water advantages, creating connections with tourist destinations in the region and in the province.
