This is a free film screening program , with the participation of nearly 1,000 audiences and delegates, and is an activity within the series of events of the program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Binh Dinh province.
In her opening speech, Ms. Le Thi Ha - Director of the Vietnam Film Institute - said that Binh Dinh is a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, endowed by nature with many scenic spots, and has very rich and diverse tourism resources.
In addition, the unique value of Binh Dinh’s traditional martial arts cultural heritage is increasingly spread through many impressive works of Vietnamese cinema. All of these show that Binh Dinh has many advantages to attract filmmakers to film, compose, and contribute to promoting tourism.
The film screening program "Promoting and promoting tourism through cinema" in Binh Dinh will screen 13 outstanding films for free at cinema complexes and outdoor public cinema venues in Binh Dinh. The films will be screened at 3 large cinema complexes in Quy Nhon City, including: Provincial Convention Center; Starlight Quy Nhon; CGV Kim Cuc Plaza.
The program also organizes film screenings at 5 outdoor public locations in Binh Dinh province, bringing a special cinematic experience to audiences far from Quy Nhon city center.
Among the works screened, there are 6 films set in Binh Dinh and many other localities, creating a big echo in the Vietnamese cinema industry, such as: Immortal Legend; Martial Arts War; Pao's Story; Heroic Bloodline; You and Trinh; Dao, Pho and Piano.
The program also includes 4 cartoons for children and 3 foreign martial arts and sports films. Cartoons such as "Maika - The Girl from Another Planet", "The Cloth Hero", "The Great Emperor" and "The Legend of the Sword" promise to bring interesting experiences to young audiences...
Also within the framework of the opening ceremony, the audience will enjoy the martial arts film "Martial Arts Battle" and interact with director Ba Cuong; actor, professional martial artist Tran Duy Nhat and Mr. Bui Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province (martial arts consultant of the film)...
The works introduced in the film screening program are expected to bring the audience interesting experiences and exciting emotions about the beauty and culture of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in particular, contributing to strongly promoting the potential of tourism promotion through cinema and sports.
