According to the announcement from the Kaohsiung city government, the event brought in more than 300 million yuan - equivalent to about 10 million USD in tourism revenue.
According to the Kaohsiung Economic Development Management Agency, more than 120,000 spectators flocked to Kaohsiung Stadium to attend the two shows, causing the demand for food, accommodation and transportation services to increase dramatically. Famous night markets such as Ruifeng, Liuhe and Jilin recorded sales increase of more than 30%, many stalls were open until 1-2 am to serve tourists.
The city's metro system also set a record for the number of passengers during the two days of the event, with more than 600,000 trips, according to a report by Kaohsiung Railway Transport Company (KRTC).
Not only affecting the economy, the Kaohsiung government also turned this event into a real festival. Six iconic locations such as Song Aihe, Cau Dagang, Ga Formosa Boulevard and the Public Music Center are lit up with the signature pink color of Blackpink.
The city also organizes a K-Pop dance competition, and arranges a temporary luggage storage area to facilitate fans.
With more than 190,000 tickets sold in 2023 and 2025, Blackpink became the international Pop artist with the highest revenue in Kaohsiung history, and was also the first K-pop group to organize two consecutive world tour shows with a total of four nights at the stadium in this city.
