On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2025), many meaningful activities and historical - cultural relic sites will be free for visitors.

In Hanoi, free tourist attractions include the special national relic of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the special national relic of Ngoc Son Temple, relic No. 22 Hang Buom, the historical relic of Hoa Lo Prison, Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Co Loa Relic Site.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum announced free admission for Vietnamese tourists on November 23.

On February 24, 2005, the Prime Minister issued a Decision officially selecting November 23 as Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day. This is an opportunity for the whole country to look towards scenic spots, historical relics, intangible cultural heritages, while promoting teaching, exhibition, and cultural exchange activities.
